AR6121C-S interface description
The interface name | Connector type | Description | Parts that can be used |
---|---|---|---|
Console interface | RJ45 |
The Console interface is used to connect the console and implement the field configuration function.
|
Console configuration cables |
LAN SIDE INTERFACE: 8 GE ELECTRICAL INTERFACES | RJ45 |
GE electrical interface (10/100/1000Mbit/s adaptive) is mainly used for receiving and transmitting services of 100M/100Mbit/Gigabit services.
Illustrate:
The GE0 interface is the management network port of the device, which is used for web network management and mail opening. ALL GE LAN SIDE INTERFACES CAN BE SWITCHED TO WAN SIDE INTERFACES. |
Ethernet cable |
LAN side interface: GE Combo interface |
GE ELECTRICAL INTERFACE: RJ45 GE OPTICAL INTERFACE: LC/PC |
Ge Combo interface, also known as photoelectric multiplexing interface, is composed of two Ethernet ports on the device panel (one is an optical port and the other is an electrical port), and there is only one forwarding interface inside the device. Combo port and its corresponding optical port is logically photoelectric multiplexed, the user can choose one of them according to the actual networking situation, but the two can not work at the same time. When one of these interfaces is activated, the other interface is automatically disabled.
Illustrate:
By default, the Combo interface operation mode is to automatically select the interface mode, that is, automatically switch between the optical port mode and the electrical port mode. The GE8 interface is the BootROM management network port of the device, which is used to upgrade the device software in the BootROM menu. |
